According to Box Office Mojo, the film earned US$1,113,878 on 210 screens in its second weekend for a gross-to-date ofUS$4,224,455.
Nodame Cantabile Saishū Gakushō Kō-hen (Nodame Cantabile: The Final Score Part II), the second film in the two-part theatrical finale inspired by Tomoko Ninomiya's Nodame Cantabile musical romance manga, dropped from #7 to #8 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's box office chart in its seventh weekend in theaters. The film garnered US$616,538 on 344 screens for a total-to-date of US$36,646,789.
Detective Conan: The Lost Ship in The Sky, the 14th film in the Detective Conan franchise, fell from #6 to #10 during its seventh weekend. The film earned US$427,168 on 326 screens for a total of US$32,596,957.
Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-Hen (Gintama: Benizakura Arc — A New Retelling), the first film adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi's Gintama alternate-history gag manga, dipped to #11 from #10 during its sixth weekend. It picked up US$239,055 on 87 screens, for a total of US$10,405,400.
Crayon Shin-chan: Chō Jikū! Arashi o Yobu Ora no Hanayome (the 18th film in the Crayon Shin-chan anime franchise) and the live-action film adaptation of Rieko Saibara's Permanent Nobara manga are no longer listed on either chart.
