Sgt. Frog, Kuroshitsuji, Bloody Monday Videos Streamed



The official website for the Sgt. Frog
( Keroro Gunsō) science-fiction comedy
anime has begun streaming a 15-second
trailer for the Chō Gekijō-ban Keroro
Gunsō Tanjō! Kyūkyoku Keroro Kiseki
no Jikūjima de Arimasu!! film on
Monday. This fifth film inspired by
Mine Yoshizaki 's manga about a
frog-like alien will open on February
27. The film's story revolves around a
curious stone figurine, shaped like Sgt.
Frog, that Sgt. Frog's friend Fuyuki
comes across. Uncovering the secrets of
the figurine leads the two and their
allies on an adventure at the massive
stone statues of Easter Island.
Tokyopop published the manga, while
Funimation is releasing the television
anime series.



The second stage musical based on Yana
Toboso 's Black Butler ( Kuroshitsuji
) manga has been green-lit, and the
official website posted videos of the
two main cast members on Monday. Yūya
Matsushita will reprise his role of the
impeccably talented butler Sebastian
Michaelis, while Yukito Nishii will play
Sebastian's 12-year-old master, Ciel
Phantomhive. Musical Kuroshitsuji :
The Most Beautiful DEATH in The World -
Sen no Tamashii to Ochita Shinigami
will open in Japan in May. Yen Press
is publishing the first manga volume
this month.

A YouTube channel has launched for the
live-action television drama adaptation
of Ryō Ryūmon and Kōji Megumi 's
Bloody Monday suspense manga . The
high-definition channel is streaming a
62-second "WEB Navi" video and a
16-second promotional video . Bloody
Monday Season 2 will launch on
January 23 with a two-hour special.
19-year-old Haruma Miura (3rd Gokusen
series, Akihabara @ DEEP ) will
reprise his role of Fujimaru Takagi, a
high school student and genius white-hat
hacker who tries to clear his father's
name by tracking down the "Bloody
Monday" conspiracy. Whereas the first
series dealt with a deadly Russian
weapons-grade virus, the new season is
set two years later when an aircraft
bearing a new kind of nuclear weapon
threatens Tokyo.
